Haunted (A Slip Story)
Hey there. Welcome in.
My name is Robert J Gannon. I am a weird fiction author with almost 20 years of professional experience.
I'm excited to announce my first commercial game release: Haunted.
Haunted is an interactive short story collection with branching narrative elements. You are a dedicated home haunter getting ready for Halloween. Inspiration strikes at the local farm, where three unique species of pumpkins give you three brand new ideas for your display this year. Get ready to build your haunt from the ground up as you strive to make your best haunted house ever.
Of course, if you're not happy with your choice, you can always try again. Maybe this reality will fit you better.
The tagline "A Slip Story" is my concept for these games. Each story is a fully developed idea branching from the same starting scene. The stories just don't like to stay separate. In Haunted, you might remember some things that you shouldn't if this really was a clean reset in time. Choose your path carefully. You might not like what you hear if you don't.
The game releases on 25 October at 9:00AM EST. The standalone game will cost $2.50.
The stories are done. The actual gameplay is fully coded. I'm going back in to add in art, sound, and music for a more immersive experience.
There will also be a companion short story collection that fleshes out these stories into alternate endings. More details soon.
Remember to like the posts for updates as we get closer to release.
